JN Money Services (JNMS) has launched its JN Money Online service, which provides customers with more options and convenience to transmit funds; and, position itself as the “remittance company of choice,” through increased digital access.

The new JN Money Online, web-based platform, allows persons in the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK) and Canada to remit funds to any market in which JN Money operates, pay bills, and conduct transactions with third party financial institutions in Jamaica.

“A part of our mission is to provide our customers with safety, affordability and convenience through multiple payment channels,” explained Horace Hines, general manager, JN Money Services, owners and operators of the JN Money brand. “With technology becoming a dominant feature of the remittance industry, introducing our online platform gives customers safety, affordability and convenience while taking advantage of new technologies.”

JN Money Online was originally established in 2016, as an e-commerce site for Jamaicans in Canada to conduct transactions while ‘on the go’; and, since then, the service has been expanded to the UK and the USA.

“We initially launched in Canada, as that market included many young professionals,  who maintain close ties with persons in Jamaica. We knew that the service enabled them to conduct transactions anytime and anywhere; and provides the opportunity to honour their commitments in Jamaica; as well as, contribute to the economy by way of remittances,” he explained.

Since its establishment, JN Money Online continues to grow, as more customers took advantage of the remittance and other technological services across our three main markets.

“Our customers can send money via our online service to any of our locations and the money is received in real time,” stated Mr Hines. “They can also send money to our JN Money card; and the card can be used as a debit card, which enables customers to access their funds from any ATM; or, use it at any Point-of-Sale machine.”

Mr Hines announced that JN Money would also be launching its mobile app shortly, in addition to other technological innovations geared to enable Jamaicans abroad to stay connected with their loved ones back home.

“Our online services currently offer customers the convenience needed conduct transactions whenever they need to. This approach represents our desire to keep our customers connected with their loved ones. Our mobile app, when completed, will also facilitate remittance transactions ‘on the go,’ which is in keeping with our digital services,” he added.

Based in Kingston, and a member company of The Jamaica National Group, JN Money Services operates in several other Caribbean countries, including Haiti and Dominica; and maintains an extensive and growing operation in the UK, the USA, Canada, and Ghana.
